Facilities, Real Estate and Auxiliary Services announces quarterly UD Blue and Gold Excellence Award winners
10:05 a.m., Nov. 25, 2015--University of Delaware Facilities, Real Estate and Auxiliary Services (FREAS) has announced the first quarterly winners of the UD Blue and Gold Excellence Awards.
The categories and winners for this quarter include:

Warren Award
• Superior Performance by a Team – Brandon Toole, ID Office coordinator, and Earl Davis, systems analyst in Facilities;
• Superior Performance by an Individual – Judee Cunha, manager, Custodial Services;
• Mentor / Inspiration / Motivator – Erica Coles, custodial technician, Facilities-Custodial Services Academic;
• Client Focus / Customer Satisfaction – Nikki Szymanski, computing support specialist II, Facilities;
• Innovation – Greg Aluise, database administrator II, Facilities; and
• Community Impact – Terry Hamilton, Harry Gibbs and Dwayne Griffin, all Building Maintenance and Operations, Heating and Cooling Services.
“This program has been created to celebrate the achievements of the FREAS workforce,” said Alan Brangman, vice president of facilities, real estate and auxiliary services. "The awards are aligned to emphasis the strengths and best practices of the FREAS team. These winners are being recognized for their outstanding contributions to the University.”
The UD Blue and Gold Excellence Awards program has received an excellent response across the UD campus, with 59 nominations submitted.
This is an annual program, and nominations for outstanding performances in the fall quarter can be made by any UD employee, contractor or affiliate. Nomination forms and criteria can be accessed by visiting the FREAS web site www.facilities.udel.edu and using the Excellence Award tab.
