Puppy Raisers of UD announce stress relief event at Perkins Student Center
7:52 a.m., May 3, 2016--The Puppy Raisers of the University of Delaware (PRoUD) student organization has announced that it will hold a stress relief event for students from 3-5 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, in the Perkins Student Center concourse.
PRoUD is partnering with the University’s Center for Counseling and Student Development to offer the event, which will help promote the benefits of interactions with dogs, in advance of final examinations.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K
University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.
June 6-9: Food and culture series
The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
Members of PRoUD help raise puppies for The Seeing Eye. After the UD students spend about a year with the puppies, they go back to The Seeing Eye to complete further training to become guide dogs.
