University Library invites campus community to attend 'Picture This' Day

10:13 a.m., May 9, 2016--The University of Delaware Library has invited the campus community to "Picture This" Day in Morris Library on Thursday, May 12. 

Photographers will take candid photos of library users in public spaces of the Morris Library. Library users are also encouraged to take their own photos that day and share them on social media with the tags #picturethis #UDLibrary or #picturethis #ClubMorris.

All UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic, set from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, June 6, on The Green.

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

• 2FA protects you
• Police training
• Traffic alert
• Library photo ID

Notification signs will be posted on the doors into the building in advance of May 12 stating that entrance to the Morris Library gives voluntary consent to having images taken. Users can notify a photographer that they wish not to be filmed if they see a photographer in their area.

The goal of "Picture This" Day is to build a gallery of images to use in University Library promotional/informational materials.
