University employees invited to vote for UDid It celebration ice cream flavor

11:28 a.m., May 5, 2016--University of Delaware employees are invited to vote in the UDid It celebration ice cream flavor contest, with online balloting open now through May 10.

The winning flavor will be announced, and served by the University’s UDairy Creamery, at the annual employee celebration to be held June 6 on The Green.

All UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic, set from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, June 6, on The Green.

Employees can select from among the top five flavors submitted. They are as follows:

• “PB Choco Cookie,” submitted by Laura Edmanson of Biomedical Engineering. Chocolate ice cream with peanut butter ribbon and cookie dough chunks

“UD’s Pretzel Surprise,” submitted by Jennifer Ulizio of Student Life. Salted caramel ice cream base with chunks of fudge and chopped chocolate-covered pretzels.

• “Presidential Praline,” submitted by Tracy Willman of the Career Services Center. Chocolate ice cream base with shaved chocolate curls/chunks, cream caramel sauce and chopped almonds.

• “Crunchy Chocolate Caramel Delight,” submitted by Teresa Doggett of Human Resources. Vanilla and chocolate ice cream with chocolate-covered pretzels, salted caramel and chocolate fudge throughout.

• “Maniac Monday,” submitted by Annie Morgan of Student Health. Vanilla Oreos, coconut, toffee bits, ground expresso beans in vanilla ice cream.
