May 9: Arthritis awareness
Free symposium on arthritis awareness set at STAR Health Sciences campus
4:03 p.m., May 5, 2016--A free public symposium on arthritis awareness will be held from 9 a.m.-noon, Monday, May 9, in the Star Atrium on the University of Delaware’s STAR Health Sciences Campus, 540 South College Ave., Newark.
Presented by UD’s Delaware Rehabilitation Institute (DRI), the symposium will feature remarks by leading experts in the field from UD, the Arthritis Foundation and Christiana Spine Center. Also included will be a question-and-answer session.

At the May 9 event, Tom Buchanan, DRI director, will provide opening remarks, and Sasha Levine of the Arthritis Foundation will speak.
Free parking and a continental breakfast will be provided for those who register and attend.
