Campus community invited to attend Adelante, Kente Stole ceremonies
7:55 a.m., May 3, 2016--The University of Delaware will hold the Adelante graduation ceremony for Latino/Hispanic students and the Kente Stole graduation ceremony for black students, both on Friday, May 27.
Both of the annual ceremonies recognize the achievements of graduating students while affirming the contributions of family members and supporters, and members of the campus community are invited to attend.

The Adelante ceremony will be held at 4:30 p.m., Friday, May 27, in the West Lounge of the Perkins Student Center. Those who plan to attend are asked to RSVP before May 20.

The Kente Stole ceremony will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, May 27, in Clayton Hall. The Kente Stoles are worn as an acknowledgement of African ancestry to symbolize accomplishment, community, unity and pride. Those who plan to attend are asked to RSVP before May 20.
