Reviresco June run

UD ROTC cadets will run from New York City to Miami this month to raise awareness about veterans' affairs.

The students, all members of the UD men’s crew club team, will compete in Bulgaria from July 22-26. They were selected to represent the nation through the U.S. Rowing national team trials held last month.

"It is very rare to see more than two athletes from the same collegiate rowing program in a United States national team boat, but the camaraderie they developed while competing for UD has certainly helped mold their crew into a formidable Under-23 level entry – a very proud honor for the UD men’s crew program" said Shawn Duff, president of the UD Men’s Crew Alumni Association.

Cost of the event, which is sponsored by the UD Alumni Association, is $15. There will be a silent auction and rowing merchandise available for purchase. All proceeds from the event will benefit the crew’s fundraising efforts for the Bulgaria trip, which costs $3,500 per athlete. For details, see the website.
