IT Research Computing to host Unix Basics Series in July

10:19 a.m., July 2, 2015--University of Delaware Information Technology Research Computing continues the Unix Basics Series in the month of July on Tuesdays (from 1:30-3 p.m.) and Thursdays (from 10-11:30 a.m.) in Faculty Commons (116 Pearson Hall).

June 6: UDid It! Picnic

All UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic, set from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, June 6, on The Green.

2FA protects you

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

• Tuesday, July 7: Introduction to UNIX;
• Thursday, July 9: Learning the vi text editor; and
• Tuesday, July 14: Getting started on Farber: HPC Basics.

Participants are encouraged to ask questions about topics covered from a previous session. For those who miss a session, all materials referenced will be made available on the UD HPC Wiki – Recommended tutorials.
