Aug. 25-27: Materials Characterization Workshop
Event to focus on discovery through multi-modal characterization
1:32 p.m., July 28, 2015--The University of Delaware’s College of Engineering will host a three-day Materials Characterization Workshop, “Discovery Through Multi-Modal Characterization,” from Tuesday through Thursday, Aug. 25-27, in the Patrick T. Harker Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Laboratory.
The workshop will include keynote talks, networking opportunities and hands-on materials characterization experiences tailored to attendees’ needs and interests. Techniques range from X-ray diffraction and thermal analysis to vibrations techniques and electron microscopy.

Keynote speakers include Anna Belu (Medtronic), Yves Chabal (University of Texas at Dallas), Curtis Marcott (Light Light Solutions), David Muller (Cornell University), Renu Sharma (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and Lourdes Salamanca-Riba (University of Maryland).
The workshop registration fee is $750 per person.
