It will investigate the feasibility and process for developing and implementing a Mindful Employee and Occupational Wellness stress management program for employees, a program that is rooted in mindfulness-based interventions.

The study will measure pre- and post-stress levels of participants, who will be asked to attend six one-hour sessions over a six-week period.

Sessions will be held from 5-6 p.m., Thursday evenings, beginning on Feb. 18. Participants will receive a $10 gift certificate for each workshop they attend, and participants who have attended all six sessions will receive an additional $20 gift card.

Ferguson is working on the project with Michael Mackenzie, assistant professor of behavioral health and nutrition, who will facilitate the six-week program.

Those with interest in participating are asked to contact Jenna Ferguson at jnferg@udel.edu.
