AEA deadline Feb. 25

Legacy Blue Hens are eligible for an Alumni Enrichment Award

1:06 p.m., Jan. 22, 2016--Legacy students at the University of Delaware interested in applying for the Alumni Enrichment Award (AEA) are advised that the deadline is Feb. 25.

Created in 2001 by the UD Alumni Association (UDAA), the award provides up to $2,000 in financial support to students whose parent(s) or step-parent(s) graduated from UD.

The University of Delaware's Nii Attoh-Okine recently published a new book with Cambridge University Press, "Resilience Engineering: Models and Analysis."

UD ROTC cadets will run from New York City to Miami this month to raise awareness about veterans' affairs.

Awards enable students to take part in opportunities that enrich the UD experience, including academic competitions, research or program-related presentations, leadership conferences, service-learning projects and other academic endeavors.

Since its inception, more than $800,000 has been awarded through the AEA. Only legacy students are eligible to receive funding. Recipients will be notified by March 25.
