SCPAB announces spring film series at Trabant Theatre

8:16 a.m., Feb. 5, 2016--The University of Delaware Student Centers Programming Advisory Board (SCPAB) will present a film series during the spring semester.

The series will feature movies in the Trabant University Center Theatre at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, beginning Feb. 19-20 and continuing through May 13-14.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

• Through Sept. 16: Women of color in academia

Tickets cost $3 each and can be purchased at the Trabant Box Office during the week before each film. Additionally, the box office will be open Friday and Saturday nights from 7-8 p.m.

There will be one outdoor movie this semester on the North Green on Friday, May 6, at 8:30 p.m. The outdoor movie is free and will be announced later in the semester.

All films are open to students, employees and the public.
