June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

The program is open to all students, faculty and staff, as well as the general public.

In 2009, this lecture series was one of the governor's first appearances after he took the oath of office. At the time, he laid out his strategies for confronting the great recession and the financial pressures it would place on the state. This year he is returning as he begins the last legislative session of his second and final term as governor.
