Library survey
Campus community invited to participate in University Library survey
8:04 a.m., Feb. 22, 2016--All University of Delaware faculty, staff and students are invited to participate between Feb. 22 and March 18 in LibQUAL+, an online survey developed by the Association of Research Libraries.
The LibQual+ survey assesses perception of the quality of library services, facilities and collections to assist the University of Delaware Library in planning for the future.

Participation in the online survey is voluntary and responses are anonymous. The survey takes no more than 10 minutes to complete. All participants will also have an opportunity to provide anonymous comments or suggestions at the end of the survey.
The direct link to the LibQUAL+ survey is http://library.udel.edu/survey.
All current UD students, staff, and faculty will be eligible to win a Fitbit Charge or gift cards to Barnes and Noble, Amazon, iTunes, or Main Street. Participants are asked to provide their email address at the end of the survey to be eligible to win one of the prizes. Email addresses will not be linked to responses.
The LibQual+ survey was last done in 2013 with over 2,500 people completing the survey. Survey results showed much appreciation for services provided by the library.
Many changes and improvements have been done as a result of the 2013 survey. Since the 2013 survey, the library has:
- Renovated and redesigned the Information Room;
- Created the Graduate Student Research Room (first floor of Morris Library);
- Added more reservable group study rooms;
- Increased wireless access;
- Made additional improvements to library services and resources;
- Removed bag check;
- Provided access to more ebooks; and
- Offered more library workshops.
