New Kent Engagement Center hosts workshops, study hours for students
9:08 a.m., Feb. 10, 2016--University of Delaware Residence Life and Housing has introduced the Kent Engagement Center, a new initiative for the spring semester.
Located in Kent Dining Hall, the center brings together engagement resources for UD students from many entities across campus.

The spring event calendar includes workshops from the Academic Enrichment Center, Institute for Global Studies, Healthy Hens, and more.
There will also be specific “study space” hours for all students.
“Being engaged outside of the classroom can be crucial to a student’s overall success,” said Christina King, assistant director for student engagement and assessment. “The Kent Engagement Center pilot serves to bring some of the University's resources and opportunities that support student engagement to one central location.”
