Nominations sought for excellence in teaching, advising awards
9:29 a.m., Feb. 12, 2016--The University of Delaware is now seeking nominations for the Excellence in Teaching Award for faculty and graduate students and for the Excellence in Undergraduate Advising and Mentoring Award.
These highly competitive awards honor outstanding faculty members and graduate students, and nominations from students and alumni are weighed most heavily in deciding who receives these awards.

The deadline for this year’s nominations is March 1. Nominations received after that date will be held for consideration the next year.
Up to four Excellence in Teaching Awards for faculty, each with a stipend of $5,000, and up to two Excellence in Teaching Awards for graduate students, each with a stipend of $1,500, will be given this year.
Up to four Excellence in Undergraduate Advising Awards, each with a stipend of $5,000, will be given.
