Group fitness

Group fitness classes are offered in a variety of formats, including strength, cardio, mind-body, dance, and HIIT (high intensity interval training), to ensure that participants never lose motivation. Those who enroll will enjoy upbeat music, a social environment and expert direction from Campus Recreation’s nationally certified instructors.

These classes are appropriate for participants of all fitness levels, ranging from beginner to advanced. UD students, staff and faculty, and alumni with a Lil Bob membership may take these classes.

Intramural sports

Teams are encouraged to get ready for another fun, action-packed semester of intramural sports. Offered are leagues including basketball, broomball, badminton, flag football, sand volleyball, softball, wallyball, racquetball, and more. Participants can join coed, men’s, women’s and Greek Life leagues. All intramural sports leagues are open to UD students, staff and faculty, and alumni with a Lil Bob membership.

Those who need more players to form a team can join the new Intramural Free Agents Facebook Group to connect with others.

Personal training

Those who are not sure how to get started with fitness goals or who want to push themselves to a new level should consider working with one of Campus Recreation’s nationally certified personal trainers. Each trainer will create an exercise program that is safe, effective, and tailored to meet specific fitness goals. Participants can choose from several packages and schedule sessions at their convenience.

Participants can also register for small group training with 2-4 people. This option provides all the benefits of personal training, but with the added bonus of training with a friend.
