March 15: Screening of 'Al Helm'
Students for Justice in Palestine sponsor screening of 'Al Helm'
7:54 a.m., Feb. 29, 2016--Students for Justice in Palestine at the University of Delaware will host a screening of the film Al Helm (The Dream): Martin Luther King in Palestine at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, in Room 102 of Gore Hall.
Al Helm is a documentary about an African-American gospel choir that goes to Palestine to sing in a Palestinian play about the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and who become witnesses to life under occupation and a non-violent movement for social justice.

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.
June 6-9: Food and culture series
The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
The screening is free and open to the public.
