Tuition Exchange is a program of exchange scholarships offered to University employees for their dependent children through Tuition Exchange Inc., a national consortium of more than 600 colleges and universities.
Participating institutions grant the TEP scholarship, not Tuition Exchange Inc. and not the University of Delaware. This means that submitting an application and subsequent acceptance to a participating school does not guarantee that a TEP scholarship will be awarded.
To participate in the TEP, UD employees must work full-time and have a minimum of two years of eligible University service as of Oct. 31 of the year in which they submit TEP applications. Eligible children are natural or legally adopted children who are financially dependent on their parents in accordance with IRS regulations.
This program may be used in conjunction with the University of Delaware's Tuition Remission Program and counts toward the maximum requests for that program.
To apply for the Tuition Exchange Program:
- Log in to web forms.
- Select “BEN Education Benefits” under the Blanks tab.
- In the menu choice, choose Tuition Exchange Program. Dependent children may apply to one or more participating institutions.
