Faculty Jazz Ensemble to perform at Newark Free Library
2 p.m., Aug. 25, 2015--The University of Delaware Faculty Jazz Ensemble will present a free concert at 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 30, at the Newark Free Library, 750 Library Ave., Newark.
Comprised of UD faculty members who are in demand as jazz performers in and around the Delaware Valley, the ensemble is dedicated to the performance and education of America's classical music.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K
University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.
June 6-9: Food and culture series
The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
Performing will be Todd Groves, saxophone; Harvey Price, vibraphone/percussion; Craig Thomas, bass; and Tom Palmer, drums/piano.
