UDress Magazine to hold fourth annual spring launch event at Perkins

9:23 a.m., April 26, 2016--UDress Magazine at the University of Delaware has announced that it will hold its fourth annual spring launch event from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, in the Perkins Student Center’s West Lounge.

The event will unveil “The Journey” issue.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

• Through Sept. 16: Women of color in academia

The evening will begin with a pre-show, including hors d'oeuvres, dessert, vendor tables and free giveaways for the first 100 guests. Vocal Point and Marielle Kraft will provide the entertainment for the event. 

The highlight of the evening will be the fashion show featuring looks from local boutiques and stores. Vendor tables include Passionista Fashion Truck, eff.Y.bee, Bombas and Lori’s Hands accompanied by the UDress Philanthropy Team. 

The runway participants include South Moon Under, Hello Darling Boutique, Plato’s Closet, East Coast Tie Co., Goodwill, and Synergy member’s very own collections.
