Courtyard Newark campus hotel offers Mother's Day brunch

7:56 a.m., April 26, 2016--The Courtyard Newark at the University of Delaware campus hotel will offer a Mother’s Day brunch from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Sunday, May 8.

Chocolates and other goodies will be offered for each mother and the culinary staff promises to make this a very special meal for the family.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

Some items include numerous breakfast options, omelet station, charcuterie platter, carved oven roasted turkey and garlic studded lamb, peel and eat shrimp, pasta, a kid’s station, desserts galore and a cash bar.

The brunch price is $34.95 for adults and $13.95 for children 12 and under. Children under 6 are free. A 20 percent gratuity will be added to all checks.
