Change-Maker Lunches
Residence Life and Housing announces special events April 28, May 10
4:05 p.m., April 22, 2016--The Change-Maker Lunches series, presented by University of Delaware Residence Life and Housing, returns this spring with two new lunches on April 28 and May 10.
The Change-Maker Lunches are a short series of lunches designed to connect students to local change-makers; spark conversations among students and provide opportunities for constructive and informative dialogue.

Students have the opportunity to attend one of two upcoming lunches:
On Thursday, April 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tommy Luginbill will discuss his startup Grey Matter. Luginbill founded a startup that provides the U.S. military with revolutionary decontaminating fabric technology to meet the needs of the Department of Homeland Security.
On Tuesday, May 10, from noon to 1:30 p.m., Lisa Simon will discuss her non-profit organization called Reading ASSIST Institute (RAI). Inspired by her son’s reading difficulties, Simon co-founded RAI, which assists in improving literacy rates in Delaware.
Lunches will be held in Caffé Gelato on Main Street and are completely free for selected participants.
