The proceeds for this fundraiser will support the UD physical therapy students’ efforts in the Miami-Marquette Challenge to benefit the Foundation for Physical Therapy.
The challenge is an annual competition among physical therapy and physical therapy assistant schools to raise money for this valuable cause.
The Foundation for Physical Therapy provides grants and funding for a large number of high level, peer-reviewed research that helps propel the profession.
For the past 14 years, UD has participated in the Miami-Marquette Challenge and has raised a total of $43,826 thus far. This year, their goal is to raise at least $6,200 in order to receive the “Foundation Award of Merit” and be inducted in the Philanthropy Circle at the 2015 gala.
