3:10 p.m., Sept. 30, 2014--The University of Delaware Colleges of Health Sciences (CHS), working in collaboration with the Institute for Global Studies, will offer a variety of health sciences internships for winter and summer sessions in 2015.

CHS is launching international and domestic internship opportunities for students interested in gaining hands-on experience, and working side-by-side with health care professionals.

Global Stories

Fulbright awards

Three University of Delaware students and an alumna have received word this spring that they will travel abroad as part of the newest class of Fulbright Student Program award winners.

Peace Corps plans

Two University of Delaware students, John McCarron and Bridgette Spritz, have been selected as Peace Corps volunteers and will serve in Ghana and Rwanda.

These affordable programs are designed for students across all health sciences majors interested in medical school and other health professions to test their fields of study and provide valuable work experience.

“Experiential learning is important for all student majors in the College of Health Sciences, most of who are preparing for careers in some field of health care. These global internships will give students the opportunity to engage in experiential learning in line with their career paths, while also being immersed in a different culture,” said Susan Hall, deputy dean of the college.
