University Library offers DELCAT Discovery workshops
8:18 a.m., Sept. 9, 2014--The University of Delaware Library will present three DELCAT Discovery workshops this semester.
Workshop participants will learn about the new DELCAT Discovery that has replaced the DELCAT online catalog system.

DELCAT Discovery opens the doors to research materials in a variety of formats and has capabilities such as cross-platform database searching, enhanced library account management for library users, citation and preview features and more.
The workshops will provide participants with hands-on practice and assistance with searching and will showcase many of the new features that DELCAT Discovery has to offer.
These identical workshops will be offered on:
Tuesday, Sept. 23, 10-11 a.m., Room 116A, Library Instruction Room, on the first floor of Morris Library. Presenter will be Tom Melvin, librarian, Reference and Instructional Services Department.
Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2-3 p.m., Room 116A, Library Instruction Room, on the first floor of Morris Library. Melvin will be the presenter.
Monday, Oct. 6, 4-5 p.m., Room 116A, Library Instruction Room, on the first floor of Morris Library. Presenters will be Carol Rudisell, librarian, Reference and Instructional Services Department, and Frederick Getze, associate librarian, Reference and Instructional Services Department.
These workshops are available at no charge and are open to University of Delaware faculty, staff and students. Seating is limited and registration is required. Online registration is available.
