Departments with the most popular and most spirited photos will win prizes and bragging rights as UD’s most spirited groups.

Participating groups can submit photos by posting them directly on the UD Alumni Relations Facebook page along with the name of the department from Oct. 10-16.

The photo with the most Facebook “likes” by 4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 16, will be the winner of the People’s Choice Award.

In addition, UD Alumni Association President, Ken Jones, of the Class of 1980, will choose the recipient of the UDAA President’s Choice Award and present a trophy to the winning department.

This year, the use of Photoshop will not be permitted, and departments are reminded to keep submissions tasteful. There are a few spirit items available from the Office of Alumni Relations that departments may borrow for their photo shoots.

Those without a camera may book a photographer through the Office of Communications and Marketing. For more information about UD Photographic Services, visit OCM Photo Services.

Winners will be announced on Friday, Oct. 17, at the Pep Rally in the Carpenter Sports Building, which starts at 4:30 p.m. All employees are encouraged to attend. For more information about the Pep Rally, visit this website.
