Newark Police release additional images of arson suspect

4:39 p.m., Sept. 23, 2014--Newark Police have released additional images and provided video of the suspect in two attempted arsons that occurred early Saturday, Sept. 20, in the 100 block of Victoria Court in Newark.

Detectives have obtained additional video surveillance of the suspect believed to be involved in these two incidents. The suspect is described as a college-age white male wearing blue jeans and no shirt. Earlier reports described the suspect wearing maroon or red pants. 

Police said the suspect was captured on surveillance video on Academy Street on Saturday morning at approximately 11:15 a.m. He was last seen walking east on Lovett Avenue from Academy Street.
