Students can stop by #UDHC Spirit Stations Monday-Saturday for free stuff

7:51 a.m., Oct. 13, 2014--Throughout University of Delaware Homecoming Week, Oct. 13-18, students showcasing their Blue Hen pride will have opportunities to receive giveaways at Spirit Stations located around campus.

Sponsored by the Homecoming Student Committee and the Office of Alumni Relations, Spirit Stations will be giving out a different prize each day to the first 400 students who are wearing UD gear. Note that only students wearing UD gear will be eligible for giveaways.

UD ROTC cadets will run from New York City to Miami this month to raise awareness about veterans' affairs.

The times and locations of the giveaways are as follows:

10 a.m.-noon: Purnell Hall lobby

11 a.m.-1 p.m.: The Green, on the north side of Memorial Hall

Noon-2 p.m.: Trabant University Center Food Court

Monday, Oct. 13: UD Homecoming lanyards

Tuesday, Oct. 14: Cell phone wallets

Wednesday, Oct. 15: Water bottles

Thursday, Oct. 16: UD Homecoming sweatbands

Friday, Oct. 17: UD Homecoming crew socks 

Saturday, Oct. 18: UD Homecoming sunglasses 


Saturday’s Spirit Station will be located inside the Student Gate at Delaware Stadium from noon-1 p.m.
