Library offers workshop on 'Research Basics for Busy Students'
9:01 a.m., Oct. 13, 2014--The University of Delaware Library will present a workshop for undergraduate students titled “Thinking, Searching, Finding and Evaluating: Research Basics for Busy Students” on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 28.
Research is a complex, often confusing process of many steps. Students who are either new to UD or entirely new to the research process will benefit by learning how to effectively use the library’s website to access different types of research materials.

Resources such as DELCAT Discovery, Research Guides, databases and GET IT will be highlighted, and search tricks and tips for accessing the content of resources online will also be covered.
The workshop will be held from 3-4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, in Room 116A on the first floor of the Morris Library. Presenter will be Meg Grotti, associate librarian, Reference and Instructional Services Department.
This workshop is available at no charge and is open to University of Delaware undergraduate students. Seating is limited and registration is required. Online registration is available.
