Materials science lectures
Department of Materials Science and Engineering sets lecture series
2:50 p.m., Oct. 3, 2014--The University of Delaware Department of Materials Science and Engineering has announced its fall lecture series, which will run Wednesdays from Oct. 15 through Nov. 19.
All lectures will take place at 10:30 a.m. in Room 322 Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Laboratory (ISE Lab).

Oct. 22: “Metal and Ceramic Composite Materials and Product Development in Industry,” Prashant Karandikar, director of research and development, M Cubed Technologies, Newark, Delaware.
Oct. 29: “Silicon Photonics: The Optical Spice Rack,” Michal Lipson, professor of electrical and computer engineering, Cornell University.
Nov. 12: “Fast Bioorthogonal Chemistry: Discovery, Development, and Applications,” Joseph Fox, professor of chemistry and biochemistry, University of Delaware.
Nov. 19: “Addressing the Processing Gap in Organic Electronic Materials,” John Reynolds, professor of chemistry and biochemistry, Georgia Institute of Technology.
