Planning Grants ($2,000 maximum) will support exploratory work on a project for a semester and may include a focus on either collaborative interdisciplinary research projects or interdisciplinary curriculum development.
Research and Curriculum Development Grants ($50,000 maximum) will support collaborative interdisciplinary research and instructional projects, with preference given to projects involving unique UD archival resources (e.g., materials housed in the University of Delaware Library’s Department of Special Collections), and/or engaging undergraduates in research, and/or engaging undergraduates in digital humanities project design and implementation.
Creative Campus Grants ($50,000 maximum) will support ambitiously and innovatively interdisciplinary research and instructional collaborations, with preference being given to projects involving international collaborators and projects that bring the arts and humanities more centrally into community, campus and academic life.
At least one of the principal investigators in every IHRC-supported project must be a CAS humanities faculty member; teams may include UD professional staff, faculty from other colleges at UD, and individuals from other universities or cultural organizations.
