Showcase your 'green opportunity' to UD community on Campus Sustainability Day
10:09 a.m., Oct. 1, 2014--Student and community organizations that focus on sustainability are invited to join the Green Opportunities Fair, which will be held on the University of Delaware’s Central Green from 2-3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 22, as part of the Campus Sustainability Day celebration.
“This year’s theme for Campus Sustainability Day is ‘Empowering Change on Campus and in the Community,’” said Dillon Kimmel, residence hall coordinator with Residence Life and Housing and co-chair of the Sustainability Task Force Campus Sustainability Day working group. “We are focusing on new ways to decrease our carbon footprint through collaboration, or projects that impact the world beyond the University.”
