Nov. 15: International Games Day
International Games Day activities to be held in Morris Library
8:37 a.m., Nov. 6, 2014--The University of Delaware Library will hold an event called International Games Day from noon-6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 15, in the Class of 1941 Lecture Room in the Morris Library.
International Games Day was created by the American Library Association in 2008, and takes place in libraries all over the world. It is a yearly event, with a mission “to reconnect communities through their libraries around the educational, recreational, and social value of all types of games.”

June 5: Blue Hen 5K
June 6-9: Food and culture series
This is the first year that the University of Delaware Library will participate.
The event is co-sponsored by the following registered student organizations: 8-bit Orchestra, Board Game Club, Computer Animation and Game Design Club, Galadrim, and Video Game Tournament Club.
In addition to the student groups, the faculty-led Game Studies Working Group and local game store The Days of Knights will also be leading sessions. Nico Carver, assistant librarian, Multimedia Collections and Services Department, is organizing the event.
Activities are scheduled over the entire six hours of the event, but participants will want to arrive at noon for a special performance by the 8-Bit Orchestra, and refreshments in the Class of 1941 Lecture Room.
