Public Safety coordinates Toys for Tots campaign on campus

1:50 p.m., Nov. 21, 2014--The University of Delaware Department of Public Safety is coordinating the Toys for Tots Program again this year on campus.

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes them as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community.

All UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic, set from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, June 6, on The Green.

2FA protects you

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

New, unwrapped toys may be dropped off at the drop-off bins at any one of the following locations:

• UD Police headquarters at 413 Academy St.;

• Fred Rust Ice Arena, 547 South College Ave.;

• Perkins Student Center;

• Trabant University Center; and 

• UD Barnes and Noble Bookstore, 83 East Main St.

Toys may be dropped off now through Dec. 10. The drop-off bin in the lobby at UD Police headquarters is available 24 hours a day.
