Students, faculty, staff invited to share thoughts in open town hall

12:42 p.m., Nov. 19, 2014--All University of Delaware students, faculty and staff are invited to meet with Provost Domenico Grasso in an open-format, town hall meeting, scheduled from 4-5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2, in Multipurpose Room A of the Trabant University Center.

Members of the community are encouraged to attend, ask questions, share ideas and learn about the future of UD.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

 “Our success relies on our commitment to excellence and how much we value diversity in everything we do,” said Grasso. “We want our work to transform lives and change the world.”  

Now in his second year as the University’s chief academic officer, the provost said he is excited to hear from all segments of the community, adding that he believes in working collaboratively with students, faculty and staff to support the University’s success.
