University announces late-night study locations for final exams

9:53 a.m., May 11, 2015--Late-night campus study locations available for use by University of Delaware students before and during spring semester final exams have been announced.

The locations include Daugherty Hall, the Trabant University Center Food Court, the Kirkwood Room in the Perkins Student Center, Rooms 223 and 230 in the Trabant University Center, and Morris Library and the Morris Library Commons.

2FA protects you

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

The Morris Library is open as follows:

  • Thursday, May 14, 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.
  • Friday, May 15, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 16, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 17, opens at 11 a.m. and remains open 24 hours a day until Friday, May 22, when the Morris Library closes at 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 23, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 24, opens at 11 a.m. and remains open 24 hours a day until Thursday, May 28, when the Morris Library closes at 7 p.m.

Morris Library Commons is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week until the last day of exams, closing at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 28. The commons offers wired and wireless Internet access, vending machines and restrooms and is located adjacent to the Morris Library entrance.

The electronic library of the University of Delaware Library, which is available 24/7, provides access for faculty, students and staff of the University of Delaware to a rich array of online library resources, including DELCAT Discovery, databases, full-text information, electronic books, electronic journals, electronic newspapers, Research Guides, digital collections, UDSpace and much more.

Daugherty Hall in the Trabant University Center is open from:

  • 7 a.m. to 2 a.m., Wednesday through Friday, May 20-22. 
  • 9 a.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday and Sunday, May 23 and 24. 
  • 7 a.m. to 2 a.m., Monday through Wednesday, May 25-27. 
  • 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday, May 28.

The Trabant University Center Food Court will be open for study from:

  • 7:30 a.m. to midnight, Tuesday through Thursday, May 19-21. 
  • 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday, May 22.
  • 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday through Monday, May 23-25. 
  • 7:30 a.m. to midnight, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 26 and 27.
  • 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 28.

The Kirkwood Room in the Perkins Student Center will be open for study from:

  • 7 a.m. to 11:45 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, May 19-22. 
  • 9 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. on Saturday through Monday, May 23-25.
  • 7 a.m. to 11:45 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, May 26-27.
  • 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday, May 28.

Rooms 223 and 230 in the Trabant University Center will be open for study from:

  • 7 a.m. to midnight, Tuesday through Friday, May 19-22.
  • 9 a.m. to midnight, Saturday through Monday, May 23-25.
  • 7 a.m. to midnight, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 26-27.
  • 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday, May 28.

For an extra boost during extended hours of late-night study, Rodney and Russell dining halls will offer PJ’s, Pancakes and Ice Cream, from 10 to 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 24.
