Nominations for the annual YoUDee Leadership Awards now being accepted

1:41 p.m., March 16, 2015--Nominations are now open to the entire University of Delaware community for the YoUDee Leadership Awards, an annual ceremony hosted by the University Student Centers in recognition of outstanding campuswide efforts.

Submissions will be accepted until 5 p.m., Friday, April 17.

YoUDee Awards recognize exemplary efforts made by registered student organizations (RSOs) and Greek organizations in a variety of categories, including:

Honors Stories

National Medal of Science

President Barack Obama recently presented the National Medal of Science to University of Delaware alumnus Rakesh Jain.

Warren Award

Rosalind Johnson, assistant dean for student success in the NUCLEUS Program in UD's College of Arts and Sciences, was presented the John Warren Excellence in Leadership and Service Award during a May 26 ceremony.

Individuals are encouraged to nominate groups that they are personally involved with as well as notable efforts and programs that they have participated in throughout the past academic year.

Nominations will be accepted online until the deadline at 5 p.m., Friday, April 17.
