Student Centers Programming Advisory Board announces March events

11:24 a.m., March 2, 2015--The University of Delaware Student Centers Programming Advisory Board (SCPAB) will present a series of events during the month of March.

All events besides the movies are free and open to students, employees and the public. The movies cost $3 and tickets are available at the Trabant box office the week leading up to, and the night of, the movie.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

• Through Sept. 16: Women of color in academia

The event schedule is as follows:

March 3: Comedian Iliza Shlesinger, 8:30 p.m., Perkins Student Center West Lounge

March 5: Comedians of MTV’s Girl Code and Guy Code, 8 p.m., Trabant University Center Multipurpose Rooms. This event is ticketed, $5 in advance and $7 at the door.

March 7, 8: Weekend Film, The Theory of Everything

March 13, 14: Weekend Film, Big Hero 6

March 17: Picturesque St. Patrick’s Day Treat, 2:15 p.m., Trabant Food Court

March 18: Late Night Breakfast, 9 p.m., Perkins West Lounge

March 19: Board Game Night, 7 p.m., Perkins Gallery 

March 20, 21: Weekend Film, Horrible Bosses 2
