Galloway's GoBabyGo talk now available on TEDMED website

2:49 p.m., March 19, 2015--The University of Delaware’s Cole Galloway joined 75 other internationally recognized thought leaders at TEDMED 2014, “Unlocking Imagination in Service of Health and Medicine.”

Galloway, a professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, shared the story of the GoBabyGo Program, which has impacted kids and their families across the globe through research, workshops and grassroots community efforts to adapt off-the-shelf ride-on cars for special-needs kids.

Chronic wounds

UD's Millicent Sullivan and Kristi Kiick have received a $1.4 million grant from the National Institutes of Health for research that could provide a new approach to the treatment of chronic wounds.

Prof. Heck's legacy

The American Chemical Society is highlighting the legacy of the late Nobel laureate Richard Heck, the Willis F. Harrington Professor Emeritus of Chemistry at the University of Delaware with a digital tribute on its publications website.

His talk, “A Movement for Mobility,” focused on the importance of independent mobility for children to fully develop cognitively, emotionally and physically.

The talk is now available on the TEDMED website.
