Faculty and Staff Assistance Program offers lunchtime sessions
3:22 p.m., March 17, 2015--With warmer weather arriving and spring around the corner, the University of Delaware Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) has announced a variety of new lunchtime programs, ranging from stress reduction to investment.
The programs include "Using Basic Mindfulness to Reduce Stress," a support group on "Caring for Families Affected by Substance Abuse," and seminars on “Understanding Communication and Behavioral Issues in Dementia,” "Finding Money to Save and Invest, “Mental Health Challenges of Children and Adolescents” and “Building Resilience.”

FSAP program descriptions can be found on ConnectingU, under the category “Work-Life Balance.”
When individuals choose to enroll in an FSAP workshop, the system will redirect the user to the HealthyU registration system. This process ensures confidentiality when participating in FSAP programs.
For those interested in additional information, FSAP features a quarterly newsletter designed to offer helpful and timely tips on a wide variety of topics. The spring issue includes the benefits of self-reflection and relaxation techniques, as well as steps toward establishing resilience.
