2:22 p.m., March 18, 2015--The University of Delaware Faculty Commons Book Club will discuss Carol Dweck’s research highlighted in Mindset: How You Can Learn to Fulfill Your Potential at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 8, in 116 Pearson Hall.

The discussion will explore Dweck’s arguments regarding how a student’s mindset can impact his or her learning, and how people’s own mindsets affect their work and interactions. She and her collaborators have studied how promoting social belonging among ethnic minority students can improve academic achievement and significantly diminish the achievement gap.
