Kent Dining Hall, Hartshorn bicycle racks to be removed due to construction

11:56 a.m., March 18, 2015--Due to ongoing construction, University of Delaware Parking Services has announced that the bicycle rack next to the Kent Dining Hall ramp and the racks next to the north end of Hartshorn Hall will be removed.

Any bicycles found locked to the racks on Tuesday, March 31, will be removed by Parking Services, which asks that owners move their bikes to other racks prior to that date.

Those who no longer need their bicycles are asked to consider donating them to the Newark Bike Project, which is located on 136 South Main Street and can be reached via email at Donations@NewarkBikeProject.org.

For those who are unable to remove their bicycles prior to March 31 and later find their bikes were taken from the Kent or Hartshorn racks, contact Parking Services at 302-831-1184 or email Ban Phommachanh at bphomm@udel.edu. Be prepared to provide information on the make, model, color and serial number.

Parking Services is not liable for any damage to bicycles or locks that might occur as a result of the removal.
