Faculty Commons Book Club announces summer selections
1:57 p.m., June 9, 2015--The University of Delaware Faculty Commons Book Club has announced its summer book selections and invites any interested participants to join in the discussions.
Copies of the books are available for free on a first-come, first-served basis upon registration. Participants will be contacted via email if they are eligible for a free copy.

The first discussion will cover Whistling Vivaldi: How Stereotypes Affect Us and What We Can Do by Claude M. Steele.
The meeting for this book will be Wednesday, July 29, at 12:30 p.m. with drinks and dessert provided at Faculty Commons (116 Pearson Hall). RSVP requested.
The second selection, the 2015 First Year Common Reader, Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption by Bryan Stevenson, will be discussed on Friday, Aug. 21, at 12:30 p.m. in Faculty Commons (Pearson 116). Drinks and dessert will be provided at this event as well so RSVP is requested.
