University's annual Benefits and Wellness Fair a success

8:48 a.m., June 9, 2015--More than 1,000 employees attended the University of Delaware’s annual Benefits and Wellness Fair held Tuesday, May 19, at the Trabant University Center.

Employees were able to obtain information about the full array of benefits provided at the University and also participate in a variety of health screenings using Wellness dollars. Those included screenings for blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, bone density and osteoporosis.

All UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic, set from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, June 6, on The Green.

Forty-four benefits providers and non-profit organizations participated in the fair, offering useful information and a variety of door prizes.
