Xiamen University faculty to perform free Chinese New Year's concert
1:48 p.m., Jan. 30, 2015--Faculty from Xiamen University will perform a free Chinese New Year’s concert at 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 8, in the Gore Recital Hall of the University of Delaware’s Roselle Center for the Arts.
The concert, sponsored by UD’s Department of Music, will feature eight faculty artists from Xiamen, one of the leading universities of China and an international partner university with UD.

The concert is co-sponsored by UD’s Institute for Global Studies and the Confucius Institute.
The concert of Chinese traditional and western classical music will feature Xiamen faculty cellist and dean of the College of Performing Arts, professor Su Li; faculty pianist and associate dean of the College of Performing Arts, professor Shuhua Chen; faculty pianist Guochao Li; faculty violinist Qiaoxi Zhang; faculty harpist Junying Pan; faculty bamboo flutist Feisheng Ye; and faculty vocalists Shuo Feng and Yanfang Chen.
