“We want students who plan to return to campus housing next year, but may be affected by the changes, to have the opportunity to make informed decisions by the guaranteed housing deadline,” said Kathleen Kerr, executive director of Residence Life and Housing. “This year, the application deadline to be guaranteed housing for 2015-16 is Feb. 28. Students should be considering their options now.”

Students most directly affected by the changes will receive individualized information based on their specific situation and options for choosing their housing for 2015-16.

The returning student housing application will be available in the My Housing portal from Feb. 2 through Feb. 28.

“Students who live on campus are uniquely exposed to connections and opportunities that can lead to one of the most rewarding experiences of college,” said Kerr. “We aim to partner with those students every step of the way.”
