Drop-in clinics

Sessions on syllabus, course design set Jan. 16, 26

11:11 a.m., Jan. 13, 2015--Two drop-in clinics on syllabus and course design for those who are preparing to teach for the spring semester are being offered this month by Academic Technology Services (ATS) and the Center for Teaching and Assessment of Learning (CTAL). 

The clinics will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Friday, Jan. 16, and Monday, Jan. 26, at Faculty Commons, 116 Pearson Hall. Faculty members can stop by at any time during clinic hours. No appointment is needed.

June 6: UDid It! Picnic

All UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic, set from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, June 6, on The Green.

2FA protects you

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

CTAL representatives will be available to assist faculty members, instructors and graduate students in enhancing what a syllabus communicates about course expectations to students. They also will provide suggestions about syllabus statements and organization that can enhance equity, inclusion and learning 

ATS staff will support faculty members' effective use of the Canvas and Sakai learning management systems.

If the scheduled clinic dates are inconvenient, CTAL co-hosts office hours with ATS in Faculty Commons every Monday from 10 a.m.-noon and every Thursday from 1-3 p.m. Individuals also may schedule an appointment at CTAL's location in Gore Hall (Room 212) by calling 302-831-2027 or sending email to CTAL-info@udel.edu.
