Campus Stories

From graduates, faculty

As it neared time for the processional to open the University of Delaware Commencement ceremonies, graduating students and faculty members shared their feelings about what the event means to them.

Doctoral hooding

It was a day of triumph, cheers and collective relief as more than 160 students from 21 nations participated in the University of Delaware's Doctoral Hooding Convocation held Friday morning on The Green.

At Vita Nova, students offer an award-winning lunch buffet Monday through Friday, beginning at 11:30 a.m., and elegant four-course dining Wednesday through Friday, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

For those guests looking for more casual fare, the Bistro, also located on the second floor of Trabant, offers a three-course theatre menu for guests going to performances on campus, as well as a tapas-style small plate menu and an extensive beverage selection. The Bistro is open Wednesdays through Fridays, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
