Companies visit UD for technology jobs fair featuring networking, presentations
2:27 p.m., Feb. 26, 2015--The University of Delaware’s Horn Program in Entrepreneurship is partnering with UD’s Career Services Center (CSC) and Technical.ly Delaware to host a NET/WORK event on Thursday, March 12.
NET/WORK is a technology jobs fair, showcasing 15-plus regional technology companies that are excited to share their company cultures and get to know talented candidates outside of their resumes.

Hiring organizations and exhibitors will include Capital One, Archer Group, Cnverg, ITWoks, AppJaxx and more.
NET/WORK, in addition to providing networking opportunities, offers career services like mock interviews and resume reviews facilitated by the CSC. Job seekers are also welcome to take a free headshot for addition to their resumes.
The NET/WORK event features a “community talk,” in which Mona Parikh of the Horn Program and Start It Up Delaware will give an introduction to the Delaware technology scene. Freelancers and other active community members will also share advice on how to get involved.
The event will include a “career talk,” offering professional advice from experts at Capital One, as well as a “dev talk.” During the “dev talk” lead developers from the Archer Group will present a real client case study and explain how it was solved.
Doors will open at 4 p.m. at the Horn Program’s Venture Development Center at 132 East Delaware Ave. Suits and ties are optional, and a networking happy hour will offer beverages and snacks from 6-7:00 p.m.
